To be honest, I think the turning's just not responsive enough and there's barely enough camera room to make good judgments on when to turn.
Sorry mate, just not a fan of this one.

Holy shit. For a 48 hour game jam this is remarkably polished. The mechanic really has alot of impact, not clunky, and is used quite well as a dash and attack while activating other things.
And the enemies themselves work well too, though I think the Birds could of had their intro not happen so close, it can often hit.Boss was solid too, though easy to spam into he had alot of varitety. Though the hand attack where he opens his palm felt messy to avoid.

As for the aesthetics, they're on point too, boss is cool, enemies are endearing, and the player feels like a solid balance of attacker and cutesy. Unexpected but it works well. You get a solid vote in my books here.

Seems okay, but not really my thing personally. I think the aesthetics are a bit too generic for me. But the Puzzles themselves seem alright, though a bit clunky.

Yeah, the graphics are simple and the levels are sloppy. The minigames are where the fun is! I also enjoy playing around in the level editor, but I guess others don't find it as fun.

Thanks for the review!

It's an endearing game, though it is in the end of the day poker, you did it well.
There's charm to the setting, I like the abilities (a tad too costy at times and the security not resetting after every match makes it hard to use them at times) and I like the goofy dialogue.

I think the sprites really could of been a bit more stylised and using a larger scale, using a default pack works for a 2day Game Jam but still I think it would of helped to of gotten an actual artist on. Since I feel expressions would really of added alot to this game.
But anyway, not bad.

I quite enjoyed the game, though I consider it quite clunky with it main gimmick. It felt that you had to hold the ray on things too long, and while you have just enough time to use it again, it felt unreliable at times. The last section is a great example of that. And the platforms too, half the time it felt it wasn't working.
I wish there were more creative uses of it, but for the limited time you guys did quite well. I would love to see this concept expanded up and refined.

Jumping was consistent for the most part, but one or two situations the jump felt a little too short, especially in the "tower". I think that however is more bad level design rather than the mechanic itself being a problem.
And, uh, is there an ending for the game? I feel like there should be but I found everything and even went back to the machine but nothing happened.
The art was solid though, as an animator myself I can appreciate the feeling of character and the time gun itself added to that. Making enemies turn to skeletons or eggs is really fun. The music was as well, having a strong intensity to it.
For a Gamejam you did a pretty damn good job. I participated in a GameJam quite recently myself (as character artist), and while I completed all the character, enemy and boss art, the game ended up a real mess due to the time limit, poor coders. So I know how intense it can be.

Great job.

Thanks, there's is ending to the game, you have to collect all 6 of gems, you probably missed that

That's a wholesome meme game. Good job hahaha. Goodluck with whatever you do in future.

I liked it, though I'd love to see the concept expanded upon. And the visuals too, but it was nice.
A little too long though to reach the boss.

A man chasing a star in the sky. Chase your dreams, even if you set aflame for them. Because they are what fuel your heart.
