Not bad, needs a bit more exaggeration and some clean up, but it's not a bad remake. You should also scale up your sprites when you upload them. (Just a resize via 200-300 percent when exporting should do it)

For pixel art, you've really captured a painted look quite well, holy shit it's detailed as hell. Nice job mate. If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about this piece?

It's a pixelsort so it's a corruption piece. I used after effects to do the pixelsorting

Yeah, as the other guy said, the quote's nice. I think the dithering is a touch overkill but for galaxy I think it's more excused. And the scene's really goddamn nice, especially the stars and Earth. You can feel the "lighting" on Earth through the dithering actually, Nice job.

I see where you got this dithering mentality from. On the character and moon, the dithering is used well, not overbearing, but I think the sky has it too much. Mountains, just a touch too much, but I really like the style of this. I'd like to see a continuation piece of this guy in future.

Honestly it’s totally random, not pre planned. Went out for a trip to some rock pools, and by the end of the day I wanted to draw em.
