How would I go about uploading videos that aren't "fully fledged animations" but short attack animations?

My Maria Axe animation test I uploaded here was forced into gif format, which pretty much wrecked the flow (FPS too high for gif format)

I'd like to ideally upload to MP4 or Webm, but it doesn't seem like there's an option for that unless you're trying to upload a 1 minute or so animation (Like really short animations seem highly discouraged)
